Actually, what will be the order of development in FH2? First North Africa, but then? Western Europe, Eastern Europe, or Asia? Horrible backgound music on the video by the way.

Personally i dont like the audio commands. I always had them off in fh42, with text only instead. So i still got the message, but without the spammed .wav files lagging me out. Unfortunately you cant turn off the sound files in bf2, which totally sucks..

I don't know if this helps: I know in BF2 and 2142, there is a system that prevents people from radio spamming. Once you make a radio call over and over, the commander tells you to "Stop reacting and get off this...(Channel)" and in 2142 an apt "Shut up and ditch this channel" - and you get radio-blocked for some seconds (Like 45 or something). I'm not sure if the commander's response is only to the radio spammer, but I'm sure it is, meaning there is radio silence once the spammer is blocked. For me, I want radio and voce overs. If the devs plan the architecture right, there would be a whole lot more voice overs and fewer radio overs. So those with radios would be doing something important - Like coordinating tanks, captains and spotters calling for artillery, the general himself - Important people. The lowly grunt would have to scream for a medic or bleed to death >:-) Personally, i think it's possible to have a good gameplay partly depending upon the voice overs. I think there were alot of voice overs in BF42 which are lacking in 2. Like 'open fire!' and there should be a 'Cease fire'/'Hold fire' also. I want to be able to plan attacks with a squad and especially, plan supression and flanking attacks with voice commands. You can't put down your rifle and type - Most people may not be in the situation to read it, but everyone got ears and its only two clicks to radio or voice-over

Ultimately, the ingame VOIP, Teamspeak, and Ventrilo, etc would be used to a greater extent than the radio commands.

i think the best combination of all 3: VOIP, voice overs and obviously, typing is supported Not everyone likes or has all ofr either 1 of the architectures. So I wouldn't want the devs to neglect one side over the other - Some us would be damn lucky if we even get to play online @ all - And bots don't use VOIP, I'm sure...
