I was thinking asbout this after playing Project Reality. Why not have it so VOIP can be heard by all? It could have the same or even a little bit more sound radius as the radio commands when your standing next to someone. That way, your waling through a city spot and suddenly you hear a bunch of bumpling and talking. You look in the house, and it is a squad of enemys sitting there talking on VOIP. Be pretty kool.:)

Wouldn't be very realistic since most people didn't know the enemies language, Germans Vs. Russians for example.

i love the idea, and maybe if the devs dont impliment it at least make:

1. voip to all friendlies, im fed up of not being able to talk to other squads and ts/vent servers are eternally empty.

2. make a voip vehicle option, where you can talk with voip to everyone in your current vehicle. finally you can get your driver to go where you want him to.

VOIP with all the friendlies will get too "spammy", even now, with 6 people talking, it sometimes gets hard to understand what everyone is saying, and what is directed to you. I like the voip vehicle option though

Hell Ranger;3377500 I like the voip vehicle option though

As long as everyone remembers that the driver gets to choose the radio station, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think it'd be nice, even if beta testers and devs tend to say I talk too much. Well, they can't ban me from a server for that, can they?:p Only shortcoming, as mentioned is that it'd be impossible to keep it realistic an immersive, just like... *a couple of Americans are silently going around German position in some french town* Yank 1: tssshhhh! they'll hear us Yank 2: okay, okay, let's go Yank 3: I think I hear some of our troops around hte corner Yank 2: let me chek... ugh, those are Gerries Yank 1: damn voip for everybody lol Yank 2: tell me about it Yank 3: well, unless let's hang around and listen if they won't reveil any important info for the battle Gerry 1: comon, comon, I got him right in my ironsights but the damn lag is too big Gerry 2: stop whining, say, have you heared about new bf2 patch? Gerry 1: hmm, no? Gerry 2: well, it's supposed to make the game better Gerry 1: wha? they're planning on adding gameplay? Gerry 2: lol, they must have cut it early in the beta, but you gotta say, it's good they do anything Gerry 1: I'll just stick to this mod Yank 1: let's just waste them shall me? Yank 3: lol, the Gerry's leg is sticking through the wall, haha, gotta knife him... ...
