'[11PzG USMA2010']Excel, no its not. DC is way off.
It is not realistic either, but it is far more so than FH currently. It's just plain ridicilous that you can get an accurate shot faster by changing the weapon than by aiming!
[tRMad Mac]If you've read my previous posts, you would see that I dont see any problem with the AT/pistol swap. I do have a problem with the MG using this exploit. My solution did not involve an SDK or new engine, but simply the removal of the knife (from the Spawnable HMG kit).
And if you had read the first post of this thread you'd have noticed that the problem isn't limited to the machineguns. The same applies to rifles as well - and that's the real problem. And fixing it the way I suggested does not require SDK any more than creating the mod in the first place.
The question here should be "Can we fix it?", because I think its an engine issue. Try the "bug" with any other mod and its all the same. Making a delay between switching weapons would at least put a dent in it.

No, the weapon switch "bug" itself can't be fixed. But we can make the weapon crosshair behaviour such that using the "bug" is not advantageous. And it doesn't require adding a weapon switch delay either (which would probably require SDK anyway) - again, see the first post for details. There's a reason you don't see people running around with knifes and pistols in DC...

WerteX might disagree with you on that one. So care to elaborate? I'm not basing my observations on any previous version...

Then explain why when changing from rifle to pistol the crosshair blooms.

Because the pistol has a wider "narrowed-down" crosshair (to simulate lesser accuracy) then the rifle
