I just saw the FH2 video on You Tube, and I was prety amazed, but one thing was missing: Recoil And Weapon Climb when looking down the sights. The MP40 and Thompson have massive recoil and climb, even when put up to the shoulder.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

the later thomsons that didnt have a compensator, yes. but from everything i have heard, MP-40s had a famously low muzzle climb, as did early military thomsons equipped with compensators and drum magazines (which were so heavy they couldnt move around that much.)
even the later tompsons didnt have that great a muzzle climb.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=n1evmxp2bmE Mp40 had about zero recoil.
The Japanese SMG (basically a Bergmann knockoff) and the Italian Beretta had pretty gnarly climb though, as I recall reading somewhere. Anyone have facts on the Sten and PP**?
WIP, guys, WIP

GOSH!!!!! was that really an MP40 ? I was so surprised about the recoilless action it give off.
SMGs are basicaly big guns shooting small rounds, most have very little recoil. ppsh- http://youtube.com/watch?v=JH2BVFTe9Q8 sten- http://youtube.com/watch?v=pwUSe0SnABA Thompson- http://youtube.com/watch?v=fHLChqPgzjg&mode=related&search=
Thats amazing, and they say SMG's in FH aren't nerfed..
*hides from Lobo*
Really? I thought climb was a result of an unaligned stock with the barrel. What about the early thompsons whith out the compensator? When did those come out? *Smacks head* Thats right, the Mp40 didnt have great recoil. What about other SMG's? Other rifles? Machine guns? (Of couse the mg42) About the MG42, there is a specific recoil-absorbing stance: http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=SsvMHrWOcEw&fromurl=/watch%3Fv%3DSsvMHrWOcEw
