i noticed that some of the skins of tanks in fh have bushes painted on them. what i really want to suggest is putting real bushes on the tank to make it blend in more with the enviorment. after all there really were used, especially in the german ss divisions. :) ill post pics later cus i really gota go to school right now. but if ya know what i mean please leave feedback.
would look nice, but i dont see it working that well... seeing as how you cant run over trees, the only way to get into a forrested area is to back in. then you wont get in far enough, and the camo wont do their job. but it would at least look nice.

this could possibly be usefull if we got some new vegetation statics. perhaps one to two meter high, and sort of like the bushes. in some parts - if you lie down you've got a meter or two visibility. if you crouch your head is just above the top of the vegetation and when you're standing most of your torso is above.
other parts got higher vegetation, and trees.
this would make the camouflage far more usefull. somehow it should also be coded so that vehicles drive at half speed, and when you walk you're also slowed down (perhaps some barbed wire code)
I like the idea. It could possibly be made part of the model? We really need soem new vegetation as soemone mentioned. We need taller grass, especially for the Normandy and Russian Steppes maps.
If the bushes could be low poly modelled then applied to the tank it might be possible. I suggested this back before .6 was out. Its a lot of work to make it look good though.

Speaking of camo, (not to hijack your thread, I think some foliage would look great!) the american olive drab on their tanks(if the manual is any indication) is WAAAAY to green, The sherman jumbo has it down pat, it looks perfect. The green on the other tanks is not right at all.

hmmm; i like to see you people agree with me. heres my thoughts on how this can be applied 1. we could have a low poly bush rendered along with the tank as stated above. 2. could we just slap on a current bush to the tank? right now we have non colision bushes in vanilla bf. and i get no lag when i hide arround them. take the redone wake island map for example. 3. IT IS POSSIBLE! how come we get no feedback from devs!?
also i would like to suggest the emplacement of sandbags to american tanks. gives them a bit more protection from german armour/ anti tank weapons. getting to tired to see the same ol plain tanks without all the war equipment like bushes, and sandbags, equipment etc etc. heres an example. also all tanks should be able to carry passengers on the sides to give em a ride besides maning the mg. take the stug3 for example.
