I was wondering if their were any radar vehicles during WW2? And if theiur were could we get some? They would have the same function as the "radars" in DC exept they would show the unites the radar detects to the whole team. I got this idea while looking at a thread about more realistic radio equipment and when I saw this I thought : WE NEED RADARS! the radar would be a vehicle (like a Opel Blitz truck with a radar dish on it, thou I like the antenna-car more) that you would be somehting to sneek around enemy lines or somehting like that
germans didnt have radar so the bltiz is out

Yes they did. Haven't you ever heard of Freya? That was the codename for the German radar system. Radar was uncommon and primitive compared to today, but did exist on both sides.
Isnt that a Luftwaffe radio truck used as a radio transmitter for impromptu airfields. Was used in North Afria nd Eastern Front.
hmmm well ther goes what i know

Yes he took the image from this thread: http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=147927 Where I talk about having more historically accurate radio eqipment. The image of the guys and crete and the vehicle are from this great website on ww2 era radios. http://www.laud.no/la6nca/radio/german/index.htm
I also would like the radar working on submarines if they ever had one. If you go underwater with your sub you have no idea where the enemy is so a radar would really come in handy. You wouldn't need to peek with the periscope to kill the ships no more....
Yeah subs in WW2 still had passive SONAR to listen to where the enemy ships were and could tell by the revolutions if it was a destroyer or freighter. I know U-baots had a radar to detect aircraft which was made obsolete and was replaced with another system
I think US subas had radar also.
What funny guy would try working his Radar while diving?
I think the practical use of of radar in FH is somewhat questionable.
