On the German Flag that flies on the control point flagpole, you see some sort of cross in the middle of the flag, in the white portion. However, on the minimap, you do not see it on the flag icon that indicates a main base. I'm not sure if you see it on the flag icon that indicates a control point, but can the cross be put on the main base? The flag looks kind of plain without it, in my opinion.

I would like to see something like that too, but it probably violates one of those "inapropriate image" guidelines that are set up.

I suggest you download FH realism. Instead of a made up cross, (that cross was created by EA, but I believe when the game came out they had a swastika) the realism patch adds the swastika and more realistic skins on soldiers and vehiclwes and adds few maps. It's client side and it only changes what you see, it's not a seperate mod, but more of a plug-in.

The cross and flag aren't made up. The flag alone like it is is the sign of the German Empire, and the cross is the iron cross. With the cross on the flag its the sign for the military. Or something like that, I think, anyway, it's not made up.

Uh, I know what an Iron Cross looks like. It looks like a 1st graders drawing of one. Yes, those colors are right, but if you can find an Iron Cross that looks like that, then, um... Hmmmm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Flag -> Nationalflags: Germany_flag_1871.png German Empire (1871-1918) Germany_flag_1919.png Weimar Republic (1919-1933) Germany_flag_1933_1.png Third Reich 1933-1935 (then forbidden by the Nazis as "reactionary") Germany_flag_1933_2.png Third Reich 1935-1945 (jointly with previous flag 1933-35) others: Flags of the German Empire (1871-1918): gosch.gif Jack germanimperial.jpg War Ensign Flags of nazi germany (1933-1945): nsdap_navaljack.jpg War Ensign Conclusion: So yes the flag made by Dice is one made up themselfs and based upon the Jack of the German Empire (1871-1918).
