lol im sorry if this question has been asked already (prolly has several times) but why isnt the medic a class or even a kit at least?
The medic is extremely important in any war. Especially WW2 (i can imagine a kit of a medic: (Med pack, Knife, Grenade, and mabey a rifle)
On some maps there are pick up kits and you can only heal other people with those, not yourself. I remember vanilla 1942 when you would be firing like crazy at a infantryman with a tiger and he would just bunny hop along healing himself as you shot him. I think it places more emphasis on trying not to get shot and using protective cover more realistically. It kind of forces players to use a style of play less like rambo if they want to live.
Ahhh thats a great idea (healing only team members, not yourself). Where are these kits located>? never seen them before
I only know of one. It's on Karelia in the Soviet bunker.
I also know one in El Alamein at the German base. It's in the most northeast (according to map) Medic Barracks. I think it's Medpack+K98 rifle.
ok awsome, although it would be pretty cool to see medic kits on almost all maps :-)
Yep, I also think they should replace AT by Medic in Omaha Beach maps... AT is useless as we have Rifle grenades and it would also be nice to have a medic to heal when allied soldiers that managed to get to shingle and are badly wounded.
There are also medic kits in the jap and american bases in Guadalcanal :)
i wonder if the FH team ever thought of adding bangaliers for omaha beach? Mabey make barb wire surround the entire beach and the only way to advance to the beach wall would be to destroy the barb wire with the bangaliers. I guess that it could replace the TnT for the us engineer in omaha beach
Yes both will be in 0.65, at least I'm sure of the seawall and bangalores have been posted in previous updates. We willl have to wait if the bangalores are in or we have to use satchels, both will do fine imo.
