I own it as well. The poster was mistaken. You fight those things in the last mission of the game, where you try and shoot down this giant flying thingamajig called the Daimler-Benz C, and those things are defending it. Oddly enough, it takes place during D-day. This seems weird as hell to me, since most of the aircraft in that game didn't fly until late 1944-1945 anways.
If its Secret Weapons over Normandy, the ME-163, P.1087, and ME-262 should not be in that game. They werent even in Normandy. The only planes in the air on June 6 were 2 BF 109's strafing the landing beaches.
you do know that they fought in normandy after 6 june, yes?
In fact, Normandy is still here to this day! FASCINATING. Note: SWON is the most arcadey, low-brow ww2 flight sim evar. Just be glad they managed to figure out the Russians were allies and not axis.
Meh, I would never say it's realistic (or anything close to it), but I wouldn't call it a bad game. It's fun enough, even if all the planes control like the gravity has been cut in half; but don't let this jump off topic plz.
