I dont see the point in this...if you can land and repair, why not just go back to the hanger? Adding a wrench will allow pilots to bail and act just as tank commanders. We cant code in only fixing planes, so now pilots should be able to fix tanks, jeeps, and apcs? Picking up a pilot kit gives you a chute, if players dont want to take these kits then they dont get a chute. Not that it really matters because most players just jump out anyway. Giving pilots wrenches will make this class even more of a lone wolf style of player. They will just land in timbucktoo and ignore everyone else even more.

Paratroopers excluded... I've always been of the opinion that there shouldn't be any pilot kits or a pilot class. FH is supposed to be realistic - downed pilots commandering enemy vehicles or taking territory isn't. Plus flag capping bailers are so damn annoying.

Can they make it, so that you can't get into a plane unless your a pilot? So we don't have plane campers anymore.

Aye, I too dream of that.

Instead of locking planes to all but pilots, have getting in a pilot seat FORCEFULLY CHANGE your kit. Wanna hop in a Hellcat as a BAR gunner? Go ahead, but you'll have to put that BAR in a locker buddy, no room in the cockpit.

Anyone have any problems with this? I have no sympathy for people who would whine and say "But I waaaanaa take my MG34 with me in the Stuka." You get in a plane, you're a pilot, enjoy.

not in fh1, but maybe in fh2. i dont know, alot of people wouldnt like that, so i doubt it'll happen. i for one would like to see repairpads/hangers for vehicles, and no wrenchs. as long as, they are one-side only. so the enemy cant sit on your teams repairpad, in your base etc. i dont have a problem with people legitimately parachuting out of their plane. but i would like to see it where, no chute = no exit while in the air, if thats possible in FH2? dont know, but i hope so :D

Which is the same as running five meters to get that parachute. I don't think the extra bit of coding is worth the five meters.....

You've got a point. I mean, a pilot behind enemy lines isn't going to take active part in changing the war, is he? He's just going to wait for rescue..... or join up with the local resistance like James Doyle, the RAF pilot in CoD:UO.....

imo the whole point of having a pilot kit shouldn't be so that you can "live to fight another day". It should be so that only pilots can fly planes. Too bad, as of yet, this is impossible code-wise.......

I guess that could be a cool alternative. It would be a lot better than it is now anyways.:)

I diffinantly agree with wrench for pilot kit, I always use tanker or engineer kit when I fly so that i can repair my plane (which i do more often then bailing). Also Pilot kits currently are utterly useless on maps that have paratrooper kits.
