Radeon. I think you shoul be able to wait a bit before you replace that CPU, after all, it's only increasing the performance by the equivalent of 100 MhZ.....

i read up allot on the 9600 lately, looks like it beats the Ti in DX9 tests by a lot, but DX 8 results are almost equal, BUT i already got the XP 2500, it was really cheap and increased my gaming performance quite a bit over my 2400, even though the 2400 was 2GHZ and the 2500 is 1.83GHZ. :D ... radeon is coming in soon.. thanks.

yea partially due to price, the xp 2500 was 75$, the 2700 is 150$ but it was mostly availability, i couldnt find the xp 2700 at any store, and i dont buy anything off the net so i had to settle with 2500. plus the 2500 can easily be overclocked to 2.2GHZ (3200+) as soon as i get a good fan.

well i ended up getting both, and there was a noticable difference from 2400 to 2500 barton, games like FS 2004 had big increases in performance because of the 512K L2 cache, and i ended up getting the 9600XT now my pc runs SWEEEEET.
