Hi Everyone, I'm making myself a new computer and wondered which Operating System to have... The obvious choice would be Pro, however, everyone I've asked so far has said that Home is better... I'll be mainly using the computer for Gaming and Instant Messenging. Just wondered everyone else's opinions...

Unless you plan to build a large home network for somethin like business use you dont need Pro, Pro pack on more background services that you dont need for gaming and messaging, you may even save noticeable performance from your comp by using Home over Pro.

Home. Pro only allows more networkin options and services that only corporate users would find useful.

Looks like 5 for home and 2 for pro, deffinitly gotta go with home. Pro doesn't offer you anything other than background crap that slows the comp down
