im new here so i have 2 questions >_>
1. please please please will the planes cocpit view not be plastered full of controle pannel with a 2cm slit at the top of window?
irl the seats would have been adjusted so that the pilots were not looking at a load of gagues and instead at the sights.
everytime i see a flight sim or something all you ever see is a load of dials and barely anything up front. if you have ever been flying (i recomend it) you have a really good view ahead of you.
2. i read this '9. Flamethrowers. They were in the BF1942 version of FH, expect to see them in FH2, theatre of war permitting. For now though, you're gonna have to be content with bullets and shells.'
wont this just encourage smactards to tk everyone? i never played fh for 1942 but i can just picture some idiot with one of these decimating the whole squad. or will they be un-tk-able? ok not very realistic since fire hurts but it would stop tks...
Can't speak for cockpits, but the flamethrowers argument could apply to heavy machine guns, submachine guns, hell even a grenade. TBH if you teamkill more than three times on most servers, particularly in a row, you're kicked regardless of the weapon used.
the falemthrower is so limited, I have the opposite problem. Its just pretty fireworks. But, thats almost as it should be.
I agree with you on the cockpit issue. But the flamethrowers are not a problem.
I agree on the cockpit issue, too. Everytime I get on the plane, I have to press "c" to change the view Could you plz just make the cockpit sight wider, dev? A wider sight with the control panel visible would be great and realistic.
When in a real airplane, it's true your view is somewhat restricted, but the FH1 cockpits were too much. You could generally see a few degrees lower than the nose. Although it helps to be 6'4".
That's a good point, can you change the FOV for cockpits to be wider than normal?
Although it was immersive i really loathed when you tried to fly one of the american torpedo planes and you cant see a damn thing so you hit 'c' and then you can see even less because it switches to the torpedo aiming view :p. I tried to avoid that plane at all costs ;).
cool seems every one agrees on the cocpit view thing, -cough hint devs cough-
*runs before they get me
No nosecam, be used to that
Excellent! Can't wait to see Stuka pilots diving straight into the sand during the first days of play!
