Im just curious if the 30mm ammo on the Me262, or the 20mm ammo on the Bf109 will recieve a small explosion effect in order to help strifing ground targets and blowing up other planes? If it didnt blow up, my bad... If it did blow up, will we see the effects?
Since there still isnt one reply... When the 30mm round collides with something, will it explode?
i.e. dc eye candy? Increased damage radius? We can hope! EDIT: Heh if you had just waited 1 sec mine would have bumped it!
that would be awesome, it would dramatically change what you could do in an airplane
yeah we need this kuz a palne can ake only a few 20mm shots and maybe 3 tops 30mm hits IRL so i think this would do nicely:D
Yeah, I agree...we need HE bullets for aircraft.
Especially on the Bf 109E,F,G,K....they used either 20 or 30 mm HE cannons (exept for some F-variants like F-2)...
I would just have loved too be able too shoot down B-25 and 26 with just like 2-3 shots...:)
Also I think the plane's regualar MG's should get a boost of splash damage. As it is now, strafing isn't as effective as it was in reality, since the MG's use what appears to be the rifle bullet code. I think that would definatly make it more appealing. :naughty:
When you fire a bullet...it causes damage to where it hits. Not in a 1 foot radius around it. Splash damage on the normal machineguns wouldnt be cool.
Yea but in rl the bullets would richet so it would be more then just point to point. That said though, I would not be for mg splash damage.
I agree...why on hell should MGs have splashdamage?
