Nothing would be greater satisfactory then seeing 2 allied teams fighting besides each other against 2 axis teams. It would have to differ offcourse depending on where the battlefield is set like 2vs1 or 3vs1 with the Brits, Americans and Canadians fighting off the Germans on Normandy. first of all is it even modable with the new bf2 engines ? ur taughts...

Aren't there 2 different armies on Counterattack?

Counterattack - Not properly.

Having three/four separate armies to choose from would be very difficult to deal with - how would you code teamkilling etc, and the menus would have to be revamped.

Yepp, but if there could be moded with seperate spawnpoints for each teams. Teamkillings and such could be coded in a 1vs1 manner. u would still get a teamkilling if u killed someone of ur neighbor allied teams.

That sounds good. It would be like the Italians in Russia fighting alongside the Germans. YES THIS IS TRUE, in the 308th Grenadier Battalion had Italians in it. It fought near Prokhorovka, and in the Ukraine in Kharkov and Stalingrad.

Having more than two teams in a map would be really odd since the maps would really need to be bigger and I think it would only really look right with loads of players, more than Bf can handle.

Well, under allies, would it be possible to then choose from a sub-menu between 2(+) teams from there? This way, maybe, you could limit the amount of people on the team like it is now? And @Souljah, a map with the US, UK, and Canada at Normandy would be a huge map.

Hehe, yee I know but maybe u could sacrifice some realism for fun and gameplay. like making the "beaches" smaller. Nothing is totally realistic in games not even in FH. and Wooly_Bully I dont find it odd at all, the new engine offers even more terrain if thats what u like. for me I wouldnt care if it was minny CS maps it would still add great fun.

if this is possible to do i dont think the devs would have 3 different countries in a map but more like..Spawn as German Grenedier 156th division or the Panzer Division 12th and the Allied 8th armoured division or 3rd infantry division (pulling these numbers out of a hat here) so you could have 2 DIVISIONs fighting 2 divisions and each division could have its own Commander and Command Structure...

just a thought

I've thought about this for awhile and i think it can work. It might be good in the desert by having joint german/italian British/ANZAC forces (might give Aus the chance to get involved) It'll be intresting becasue you would have your allied armies (Germans Italy) have to work together becasue nether should be able to win alone. e.g the servers should be able to work out the ratio of people on each side. Say at El Alamein 30% of the axis forces are german while 70% are itialian
