Is this mod any good? I'm serious, is it? Can someone outline for me why it's such a good mod etc, It's just I'll have to set aside a night to download all it's crap :p.
Why don't you do a little research yourself. Check out the screenshot thread, the news update archive and the rest of the website. If everyone started asking this here it would be a right mess.
But yes it's great.
Well this is the "Is it any good" thread. So it's there for reference, I have researched it, but I seriously cannot dertermine how good it is. I know theres more realism and more accuracy but that dosen't neccesarilt make it great.
If you can't judge by screenies or reading about it why don't you download it and try it out eh? If you have a broadband internet than it won't take more than a couple of hours, like you said you can do it when you go to bed. What is your definition of "good"? What are you looking for? Graphics? Gameplay? Realism? Bots? I can tell you Forgotten Hope has all of these. Major setbacks are the high system requirements (compared to vanilla BF1942) and sound, not to mention the huge size of the mod (about 1.5 GB). If you can barely run BF1942 or have a bad internet connection, stay away from this mod.
its good, get it, tell your friends to get, tell your friend's friends to get it. pass it on
Where shall i get the so called, "Forgotten Hope Mod" for the Macintosh?
Because no one like Macs.
But yes, this mod is the best mod for BF as of now. And don't think that this is just fan-boy's love. Right now it is the most immersive WW2 game I have on my PC.
Mac is cool though, we've got those cool Mac's with the hardware built-in the monitor types at college. GarageBand is really fun, especially when you turn up the volume and annoy the rest of the class.
Yes, the video card, sound card, DVD-drive is all built-in that monitor you see at the pic. Much like a laptop.. only much better.
