I'm listening to the loading music right now. i like the tune but it seems a little too modern and electronic-sounding for my liking. smilie.gif

yuiopDoes anyone know if it's possible to randomize the songs so that a different one plays each time you load it? That way the loading music wouldn't get as boring and more than one composer could be featured.

Not really, but you can do a batch file (.bat) which rename (& random) the file songs to fit the .bik BF1942 file songs names. But I suppose you have better things to do

I think the new songs are much better than the old ones. For one the old ones were stolen. Most importantly, these new songs got a lot more balls to them. The old ones sounded like a theme song for a sob story. We need warsongs, not lullabys.

Elk hunt is from 'Last mohicans' OST and XWWII mod uses it too. FH devs have permission to use Medal of honor: frontline themes, but to use it wasn't very original. To me, Elk hunt and the others were enought 'epic' songs. IMO, may be FH doesn't need real war songs, full of drums & percussion and notes per minute ;) It isn't Gladiator. [OFF TOPIC] I like music, rock, metal, doom, blues, pop, acoustic, classic, etc. I like all quality music ;) IMO, Ska is not the most varied music... but I can say you that I had the first demo tape of SKA-P pleased.gif I'm from Madrid, dude

I despise these new "tunes". Way too synthsized, and by the sound of it the composer has no mental ability to create good music. The rythyms are recylced over and over, there is no change in tempo nor any real change in the dynamics of the piece. Areas that could have used more variation in notes were left as one, drawn out monotone. I can tell that the composer had a general idea of what he wanted to do, which I'm guessing was to create an epic sweeping piece. Unfortunatly the execution was poor, and we are left with what seem to be WIPs instead of finished compostions.

I like the new music more, but I don't like the piano single in some part of it.. It's good!

FactionRecon, I agree the synthesized character is innappropriate. Diablolos, I disagree, as a theme which can reflect the tragedy of war is more substantial and meaningful than one which only glorifies it.

Bit harsh, FactionRecon, but I see what you're saying. I kind of like Rantam's theme better, but nothing beats Giacchino's music. EDIT: You know, the win theme sounds pretty good. It'd be very good, if it didn't sound so synthesized.
