The D3A1 has a super slow stall speed, a quick tactic to temporarily lose(or possibly force a crash of an enemy plane) an enemy is to slow down, forcing them to stall or pull away. Just thought I'd point that out. Just don't pull up at that speed.
The Red BarronThe auto-dive was fixed. IMO it is a pretty nice plane now. It even has pretty good maneverablity (when you do full turns) though I expect this is by fault not design. It functions well as a bomb truck, I have even won a few dogfights with it now. Never could do that before.
No it's not, it's just reduced. In fact all planes except the fighters starts to dive if you let go of the mouse/joystick
It is normal for a plane to kinda shudder and boucne a bit when it approaches top speed due to buffeting. What your talking about sounds different.
Perhaps, but there is no good way to control the speed in the game anyway, and I only know the Val and I think the Corsair to have this disadvantage.
I noticed that the Japanese torpedo bomber is especially bad. I made three attempts to torpedo attack and I almost crashed every time due to the extreme shaking and twitching. I can't possibly figure out how it could be feature, it simply must be something that needs tweaking.
No dev reply yet.. guess this was hartmanns department On the topic of D3A1, this bombers armament is wrong. It could carry 1 250kg bomb plus 2 30kg bombs, also the rear gun should be the same vickers type as the betty cockpit gun. So as you can see it was very badly armed bomb-wise (compared to some FH fighter bombers), no reason to nerf it with the shake and auto dive.
I hate that too. On wake I like to play as a plane raping the us soldiers with machingun fire. And I mostly was very good in it. But with the plane in FH when I want to get down and shoot some of them I have to make suicide too...
