I just started playing FH 0.7 and have taken a real liking to the AT rifle. My question is what are the best spots on a tank to hit with the rifle. I found that shooting a panzer in the lump on the rear about 3 times destroyed it. On the other hand, I can't even penetrate the T34's armor unless I shoot it's underbelly which forces me to get uncomfortably close.

So what are the good soft points for german/soviet tanks? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Shot for tracks, commander cuploas, eshaust, and top,and engine covers. In pre-.7 you could snipe with it and amge anything, but now you need skills.

Btw-Is the bump the exhaust?

If you have any other question feel free to ask me!

Check out the FH school on the website: http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?module=tutorials&tutorial=1

Rough order of strenght (best to worse): Front > Sides > Back > Top > Underside/tracks

First off you shouldn't even be trying to take down a T-34 with an AT rifle use satchels if weapons like fausts or shrecks aren't availible. Your scraping paint if you are using an AT rifle on a medium or heavy tank, unless the AT rifle is a Russian one.

Try to get above the tank ( in a building or such ) and just keep hammering away with your AT rifle, although you might aswell ( as already suggested ) run away if you face anything from a medium to strong tank or above.

With a t-34 its usually recommended to climb ontop and shoot down on it.. if you can, you probably wont. Just hide and hope that stuka or tiger comes along.

That works if your not killed by enemy infantry i am pretty adept at climbing on top of tanks (as many can attest if youve played with me). It is hard enough to to climb on top of a tank and take it out with one shot but it's even harder to get on top and plink away with an AT rifle. If your infantry try to suprise it with satchels of course using satchels is dangerous but it is very effective if your steathly. Just be aware that two satchels won't take care of heavy tanks (Tiger's, Kvs etc.)

Do the antitank rifles have different rates of armour penetration? I.e is one AT rifle better than another? The boys rifle seems really crap compared to the other three...

As it was real life.

The Russians are the best once, as they fired the largest projectiles with a respective good velocity.

I believe the tank was a "PzKpfw III Ausf. L (with schurzen)" It was a good distance a way on a brigde but the part that I shot was the only other part exposed other than the turret. I hit it from the side three times and *BOOM!*. The tank didn't look like It had been previously damaged and there weren't any friendly tanks in the area so I was hoping that mabye there were some sort of sweet spots to hit. (like ammo or fuel storage.)
