As a canadian (DUH!), I would love to see a new canadian map made. The voices are already made too (even if it's terrible) meaning that it would be easier to add maps. Btw, I don't really want to go into the discussion on which country did more or whatever.. Anyway is there any plans on adding canadian maps in the future patchs? (I mean after .62) If not, may I suggest you the: The Battle of the Scheldt The 'Battle of the Scheldt' is a chapter of the Second World War that has been largely forgotten by everyone except the people of Holland, and the Canadian soldiers that liberated them. The victory marked a turning point in the Allies' final push into Germany. But for weeks the push was in jeopardy because clearing the Scheldt was not a priority for Allied Command. When it finally became a REAL priority after Market Garden, the 'Battle of the Scheldt' became the most important campaign Canadian soldiers ever waged. Facing fierce German resistance and trudging through the flooded low-lying Dutch terrain, they pressed on after devastating setbacks. In the end, six thousand Canadian soldiers lost their lives in 'The Battle of the Scheldt'.
Canadian maps could be fun....something like "Assault on Toronto" :naughty:

I don't get it. You're ugly.
But yes, Canadian maps would be cooool....even if we have to wait 'till BF2 is released...

there is a second map in the map pack which isn't bad either - still a beta though. american para drop during operation overlord.
The Canucks will need a a Browning High Power though. The Inglis under there manufacture i belive it was called. It would defeanitly make an intresting pistol seeing as it saw action on both the Allied and the Axis side.
The Canadians did liberate my hometown ( Tilburg, The Netherlands )
And i thank them for that ! What about a Caen-sector map, heavy fighting agains 12 HJ. carpiquet-airfield / Authie / Buron etc.
I think we need French, Italian and other maps first, then there is a chance for the Canadians, unless you make the map yourself...
The idea does sound nice, but don't you think it would be a bit better to add new nations that acually fought through the entire war?
I agree but if they are going to do map #561 with americans/brits vs germans in france they might aswell make it with canadians. Also Canada "fought" the entire war..

wait wait wait... hold on here.. (I think we need French, Italian and other maps first) don't you think it would be a bit better to add new nations that acually fought through the entire war? Now, Im a little confused here. The French and italians fought through out the entire war now? I thought france fell rather quickly.. and the italians did more running then fighting. Canada fought the entire war, Just not as an army by them selves. they were usualy attached to british forces as most of the common wealth contries were.
And I thought there were something called Vichy french (wich fought americans 42) and free french (wich continued to fight with the allies). Italians (fascists) fought 40-43 then iirc Italy joined the allies when they got rid of il duce and his cronies.
