Dee-JaĆ½Wrong ! If your refering to the FH DVD Action, that is a non-profit thing. Its only meant to allow modem ussers access to the Mod. Like all other Mods, Forgotten Hope can freely take whatever they want from Battlefield 1942, the Road to Rome and Secret Weapons to bring us the best WW2 experiance.

find that in writing from EA\DiCE.

what they (dice/ea) dont want happening is people that dont have r2r or secret weapons gaining access to their models and maps through mods. not like anyone would waste their money on that shit anyway.s

but their devs would prolly let us use their shit. i heard of a dev saying "all of us think that FH is THE mod for battlefield 1942"

urseusBoyonetts dont seem to work as well as they do on say day of defeat. Battlefields engine doesnt seem as solid as half lifes to allow something like bayonetting. And if it is implimented, bayonetts should be one hit kill as well.
Yes they do... 1 stab to the head and its all over. And the XWWII engine uses the RTR code IIRC
find that in writing from EA\DiCE.

Of course the Half Life engine is going to model close fast paced infantry combat better than the Battlefield engine (Refractor?). The concept of hitting PvP with a blade is so much more within HL's scope it's not funny. Anyway, some kind of stabby code would be nice, preferably not one which requires you to RELOAD before doing so. Lots of games have these problems, CoD? Vietcong.. the worst time to no be able to melee is out of ammo time. I'm sure EA would hand over the RtR code for bayonettes if asked nicely. It's not like the code is a selling point of RtR, while the models and skins and such are.

LOL

Maybe I'm drunk or something.....but WTF are you guys talking about???

You CAN'T use the bayonets on the Arisaka and Type 99! You *can* use the bayonet seperately as a combat knife (but this is just pretend seeing as the bayonet you see on the Arisaka and Type 99 are nothing but added eye-candy and are non-functional, meaning you can't detach/attach them like in RO), but that's NOT the same thing as using a bayonet attached to the end of your Arisaka rifle.
