Can't remember if the question had been already asked... What's the actual ingame range of the Leichte Feldhaubitze 18 and the 25pounder howitzer? It's way shorter than IRL, but do you know the exact distance? My empiric computation from my own IG experience makes me guess the max range is about 1450 metres... (both guns actually had a max range exceding 12 000 m) And does this range increase when the gun is placed on a high place such as a hill or a ridge (as it would do IRL)?

the 25pdr has a bigger range than the LeFH18 in RL and ingame (best seen on sidi rezegh or aberdeen the 25pdrs can shell the LeFH18 but no the other way around. having the gun on high ground increases the range . i would guess the max range of those guns is ~ half of the biggest map size. i m not 100% sure about his but for example a huge map like gazala both heavy arty peaces can reach 150th box and quiet a bit beyond that point (since both artys and not at the very end of the map but in a forward position).

Thx for the quick answer Actually I found RL max ranges of 12 325 m for the LeFH 18, against 12 250 m for the 25 pounder. I computed 1450 m max for the LeFH by trigonometry, knowing that a square on the map has a 250 m side.

i found: 25pdr Maximum range 13,400 yds

LeFH18 Effective range 11,675 yds

well thats what wiki says

but as we all know most of these weapons have many different versions. and i guess there is a difference between maximum and effective range.

Sure the effective range should be between 7km and 10 km I guess.
