And both are side arms designed around the ammunition.
Now I've got to go and find that pistol that uses .50 BMG.
drool. ive shot a m89 (single shot version of the famous m82 sniper rifle) OWWWW! one guy's nose was bleeding! imgine the poor bastards manning at rifles!
Come on Guys, give us a release ;) . We've been patient so far. Wasn't the last release months ago? :uhm:
The last release was before you joined these forums. Where ya been??? :) It's worth asking about the release as maybe the devs have forgotten they haven't released it yet :naughty: (sorry for the sarcasm). They'll release it when they want to, not when you demand it.
There's no conventionally produced pistol that uses .50 BMG. The Desert Eagle 50 uses .50 AE (action express), which is a short fat round.
.50 BMG is a LARGE round. The magazine would be so wide that it would not be able to be inserted into the hand grip on a traditional pistol (your hand wouldn't fit around it), it would have to be single shot or from a SMG-style magazine which would make the pistol huge. Also, the recoil would probably sprain your wrist or throw the gun from your hand. Short barrel + light weight + .50BMG = no chance in hell of getting more then 1 accurate shot. And I use the term acccurate with reservation, since most .50 BMG (BMG = Browning Machine Gun)ammo is not manufactured for accuracy (not sniper grade). Youd be lucky to hit a Watermelon at 40 yards.
Pistols really dont need to be .50 caliber. .40S&W is an effective and powerful round, with controllable recoil and a good blend between lightweight and small 9mm and the powerful and heavy .45ACP
Yes I realise that Ohioan my line was more satirical.......
Although I do prefer 10mm to .40 S&W.
