I didn't make it!
well, why not a tank for the German AND for the American?? The map will be more frightening to play.....and that's fun
'[NLprv.anarchy']They HAD Sherman, pardon me:eek: First of all, look at the painting.....that's a SHerman, in front of Foy....they had a few tanks, I know it for sure!
You try to navigate a Sherman through a dense crowded forest with titanium trees without getting killed by that Flak88.
'[CoUkniu']And what is the purpose of the german tankhunter class?
Close quarters would be more useful.
satchel = very effective way of controlling an area. if you expect enemies to run through a street, throw a 10sec, and that street will be clear the next 10-15sec, allowing your team to respawn. reason it works? big blast radius, and people knows that. no reason to run into it just to die, when it'll be gone in a few seconds.
agree that there should be no tanks on the map, APCs should do!
I take what n0e says way too seriously

And in the meantime the whole team runs into that big blast radius.

'[NLprv.anarchy']1) city is way too small, expand the city....
Agree on that, there is space enough to add some houses.'[NLprv.anarchy'] 4) WAAYYYYYYYYYYY more Mg's for the Germans 6) Germans have too little amounts of artillery
On this small map? There are already two per 25m, that is a lot.
prv.anarchy']Where are the Shermans...? At least one have to be in that map.Might be an idea, but remeber that it will be able to camp a lot from up the hill. Which is pretty lame.
Germans NEED a spawnable support class with an MG42. Sorry, but that's the way it has to be.
And then? Having 25 MG42-whores running around? Keep in mind that this is a mod with the goal of realism not arcade-fragfest. Just my 2 cents.
2 Deployable MG42 kits and the stationary ones are more than enough.
The Germans had 3 tanks if I remember band of brothers correctly, while at first the Americans didn't have any tanks.
However, my complaint with Foy is that it's ugly. The textures are repetitive and way too large. The village is too tightly packed with houses, remember it's a little Belgian country village, not a city centre. This map is at a perfect scale for the engine and it's a shame we have to put up with this monstrosity. (Sorry to whoever made it though, no offense)
the ticket balance isnt right, and id hate to tell you this, but its kinda unbalanced for the allies if we do it your way, the US have to manage a big run down to the town, the germans have a hanomag with can easily own us troops if used correctly. what the map really needs is cover and craters for the allies moving in, a proper fixed mortor, not a kit version, and no tanks, keep it strictly infantry
I have yet to see the germans win this map.
