They're here, of the 4 maps which I submitted 1 made it and 3 didn't... sniff sniff Does that mean they were bad? maybe accepting several maps from 1 author wouldn't have looked good since there were on 22 maps to begin with.
El Guettar: This map follows the US versus Germany in Tunisia following the fiasco at Kasserine Pass. 5 control points, some close some spread out. Special custom skins which relate to units in the battle. P-38s, P-40 and the artillery spotter for allied air against the usual Axis suspects 109, stuka and 110.
Kanev: Anyone remember Korsun? In that map the city was Kanev. This is a nicely revised edition of that classic fan favorite which I made 1 year ago (that's sad where has the time gone from .5 to .66?). 2 new bridges to better access the island town, better array of Soviet armor, new statics, another defensive Pak 40 and a winter skinned schwimmwagen. 4 control points like the original.
Crimea: The peninsula near the black sea which saw 3 years of combat. The Russians have a foot hold in the south east thanks to sea based resupply and the Germans control the north, now the battle is for the 4 control points in between. Mountains, forests, farms, ruined cities and defensive lines accent this map. A medium sized map so for once you have a chance to fly Russian aircraft without automatically taking off into a cliff, fence or tree.
These maps promise not to be lag-tastic!
Here are 3 links I'll post more as they become available.

Beautiful, just beautiful.
Thanks for the links, and by the way, which map did make it?
We didn't even know (Others then Armin) who made what map.
Kanev was disqualified because the forbidden symbols, if not it had becomed one of the finalists almost sure
Alright, Ive got them. Who's going to add these to their server so we can try them out?
These maps look amazing. Cant wait to dl them :)
I always loved that Korsun map. Can't wait to play it again! Thanks Lt. Havoc
arebt thea a bit to standart????
What better way to make sure history never re-occurs than to pretend it never happened.......
German government = win...not
Respect...Korsun was a very good map for its time. If you've improved it...all the better. Crimea sounds interesting as well. I think there's not only room for more maps on many servers but a definite need as well. The more maps the better. Heck, I've even enjoyed playing "Tundra" (a WaW map) in the past. A really strange map with landscape not from this planet...excluding the Himalayas, Rockies, Andies, Kaukasus mountains and Alps. Sort of like a "Ground Control I" feel to it, if you know what I mean. Still, I had fun with it. LaDigue
