Is the bergepanther on any of the new FH maps. Coz it seems to be totally useless but I wouldnt mind usingg it anyhow. The only role I can see for it is a mobile repair vehicle & that would only work if the took Wrenchs ability to repair tanks.

A long time ago we discussed the recovery tanks, the germans had several types, almost every tank chassis had a recovery version exept the lighter Panzer I and II that could be towed by a vehicle without tracks, such as trucks.

I'm not certain anymore what the devs said about it, but the fact they are not in FH as repair vehicles seems to indicate either the devs don't think it has high priority, or they don't see the importance of adding such vehicles.

Obviously as repair vehicles they would not be useless in FH. I'd rather have these vehicles reparing tanks then engineers........engineers are so suseptible to bullets outside their tank, you see. It could contribute to heavy tanks not falling into enemy hands, since the driver will no longer be killed during repairs.

Personally the wrench is dumb but I have never been in favor of removing it simply because It allowed me to repair my tank. It could be cool if you could deploy the Bergepanther & it was able to repair you. When undeployed it would nothing more then a ammo truck. Would actually make sense to retreat & i suppose it would make the Allies a bit more tactical. Ie always kill there Bergepanther where ever it is deployed.
