hello everyone, Today, the new patch was announced... if all goes well hopefully it add's and fixes some more bugs.. im wondering thoe.. everytime a new patch is released..it slows down the mod creation does it not? i would think it would, being there is many changes with the net code, etc etc the game in general has chnaged, and now you have to change your mod to work with it again? anyway, im just wondering, i cant wait to play this game in bf2... btw, wheres the donations? i feel, i need help out the cause here, :)
Welcome to the forums spork0! I don't think a patch that progresses by 0.01 will change much hopefully/unfortunatelly. I geuss devs always have some issues with new content being added or old one being changed.
Yeah, welcome! Anyway, what Allen said. I don't think it makes much of a difference for the sort of work the devs are doing.
About donations: none are accepted. The devs take pride in offering their services for free :p But you can give me some money if you have too much.
Oh realy? To quote FHmod webiste FAQ:
Q:Do you take credit card or cheque? A:We accept all major credit cards, and cash in a brown paper-bag.
Eh, you know what they mean....
I also accept all these payment options.
lol... ok thankyou guys.. and no i dont have a overwhelming amount of cash flow... but i plan to play this mod alot when its comes out for bf2 .. im really into the german warfare deal thats goin on amazing.. so, i feel like, i should have to pay for it is all....thanks again... also is there a battle of the bridge? like ya know, wwII ie:the plot to saveing private ryan etc etc..?
No one knows what Western Front maps will be in the game. And of course it's true FH is so great you feel like you should pay for it. But, as you know: the best things in life are free!

Well, there's no report on what's going to change, so who knows?
Maybe they'll actually fix some of the stuff the mods have been requesting now that they've got BF2142 out on the market. But probably not :)
spork0;3348572also is there a battle of the bridge? like ya know, wwII ie:the plot to saveing private ryan etc etc..?
There is a map based on it in the FH for Battlefield 1942. As for modding scene support, I wouldn't count on that anylonger. Especially not with some tiny patch.

heheh, you're quite the comedian
to answer the question: 1.41 is unlikely to cause us any hassle, unless they really fundamentally break something.
