Hey, I was wondering... does EA allow the use of content from every Battlefield series game to be used in any Battlefield series mod? I'm asking this since PR uses the night vision and blurry effects from BF2:SF. Right now voices I'm certain we have from BF2 voice-overs are: American, British, German, Russian and Chinese. They can all be used as placeholders until the devs do some more suitable ones if they decide to. Australian, Polish and Finnish are already done, since they aren't from EA. But what about Japanese, French, Italian and Canadian? Those were voices we were using in FH1 from either BF42 or RtR. Are they in BF2? Canadian probably isn't in, since it's more of an accent and expressions issue. But are the others in? If not I was thinking if we could use the ones from BF42? Does anyone know?

As far as I am aware they do not and you need to get permission from EA/Dice to use (the) content from other parts of the BF series.

I guess you don't have BF2!! The only voices vanilla BF2 have is Chinese, American and ummm MECian guess that is Iraq but i am not sure!! but if you are talking about the whole series then i am not sure!! i know Russian is in SF!!

I guess you can transfer the voices from FH to FH2 but i would like new voices with power in them to hehe!!

The German voices etc. are for the localized versions of the game.

Maybe we can do something like PR did, set up a thread asking for voice submissions?

I imagine the FH devs will do that - we don't want a cobbled-together mess using some custom ones and some vanilla (PR, EOD).

I for one would be happy to record some voices, I'm British and have access to good quality recording equipment.

Just please don't include any BF2 voices in the game.

Hmm, how about a Texan accent with a bad mic?
