what do you think of the blood? Cause sometimes, I see blood splatting in front of me, without being hit  ....do you guys have that 2?
It's called a spontaneous nosebleed.
I have spontaneous nosebleed now and then ingame. But, rarely.
It's caused by "lag", I'd explain how it worked, but i'm not the biggest expert around here about this kind of stuff :P there was another thread about this awhile ago, i'll look around for it.
edit: :p search button isn't finding it so i'm not going to go looking around for it all day, although this thread http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=161453&highlight=blood talks some about it.
Actually the threshold for spouting blood seems to be bigger than that for taking damage/being killed... either that or the bloodspouting threshold/damage threshold aren't proiperly synchronised.
Since the hit-detection in BF1942 is serverside as opposed to client-side, there is a WHOLE LOT of data lost between the two. However, blood spouting is clientside. So therefore, whenever the player's comp. detects a hit, it shows the blood being sprayed. But due to the fact that the actual "hit" needs to be transferred to the server before registering, sometimes you see a blood spurt without getting a hit.
Battlefiled's netcode sucks, basically.
We need either UT or UT2k4 [not Q3 for the love of god] netcode with the BF engine and voila! perfection...
FR hit the nail on the head.
For those who are too lazy to read, its because of lag. Warbear, you should get youself checked out.
