Bunny hoppers didn't bug me all that much in FH1, sure it looked retarded, but you just had to predict where they were going to land and place your crosshair there and wait. But what really annoyed me in FH1 was whenever I was trying to run and take cover from a tank behind a wall or sandbags, my character just could not clear them on the first or sometimes even the second or third try and i'd get wasted. Dunno how this really could be fixed, but it would be very nice if all you had to do was run up to an obstacle like a fence or stone wall and push some button that makes your charcter automaticaly climb over the obstacle, without the hassle of jamming the space button to death.

I think dice fixed that by having the BF2 characters just about 17.5 feet in the air

bukaJust a quickie. I see more and more players playing AT only, because of the laser precision in the zook shots. Apart from killing tanks extremely accurate the zook has also become a great anti-infantry weapon because of this glitch.

Nailing infantry with bazookas with your "glitch", well, there are much much easier ways of doing people in. Even with closed crosshairs, it's more of a pain to nail people with a bazooka/panzerfaust than with a rifle.

Not many more fun ones, though. Yes it's totally stupid, but I have a good laugh about nailing people with bazookas on infantry maps. It's just...so stupid it's funny.

If you want to be realistic about the "knife glitch" or whatever you call it (just a piss-poorly thought out "feature" IMHO) I still think (a) limiting the number of MGs/bazookas on a map and (b) requiring deploy times for heavy weapons are the way to go. In the case of the former (limiting bazookas) the only fear I have is that US/UK will be totally at the mercy of Axis armor--I read somewhere that tank skirts will become more effective, and let's face it, US tanks are deathtraps anyway.

That said, if you want to make things "realistic", it should be possible to throw shovels at people...

I guess you haven't played top notch players who play AT only and have perfected laser zooks.

bunnyhopping isnt a glitch...its just when people jump up and down like little bunnies...it annoys the hell out of me and I would personally punch anyone who does it hard in the knees if I could.

LoboThe trick is increase the speed of stamina, two jumps and is 0, and you can't jump again, not like in BF2 where you can jump with 0 stamina till sun goes nova If is harcoded we are doomed...Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated, all your carrots are belong to us (\__/) (O.o ) (> < )

What do you think about my idea of taking out jumping alltogether and instead make objects that would be climbable in real life climbable in game? For example, all fences and other low obstacles would function as ladders. In BF2, if you walk up to a ladder, you automatically go up and over it, no? If this code were to be applied to that fence over there, all you would have to do is walk up to it and voila! You are on the other side of the fence! What do you think? Sound good?
