Well I was thinking about WWII Online the otherday & was thinking it would be great if FH did something like it, Now we all no the limits of the maps so I was thinking well we have torries like BFE WAW & FH, Now in WWII Online theres 2 Sides Axis & Allies :). The FH Devs would be leaders in both Armies like in WWII Online, New Units & Equipment could be requested by Generals from each army & by using the WWII Online "Reaction Chain" it would make sense, that is when the Germans use the Tiger in the Soviet Union it means the Soviets start research of the IS2 & so on. This is probally the future of online gaming & I dont see why FH doest go into this field as a full gamer supported mod. It would be great, with FH Devs support it would really make for a even greater mod. I dont play BFE WAW because ine BFE WAW "Japen Invaded England with Paratroopers". This is the future of online gaming, :). Remember most mods have a online torrie but I know of none that has the Devs at the top, the codes whom can change the net code & so on. Feedback.
NurenigI dont play BFE WAW because ine BFE WAW "Japen Invaded England with Paratroopers".
Actually, the Paratroopers in question were German. It was just a Japenese named Division :)

Oh God, A Japenised Named German Division, Did that really happen.
There's only one side in WW2 Online, the Axis side. The Axis players play against themselves. That game doesn't lock teams for a campaign so when one side starts winning, the whole damn Allied army jumps teams in the middle of a campaign and plays their Axis persona. Its like playing on an FH server with no autoteam balance on Omaha Beach where 75% of the players play Axis at the end of the match. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Its something that you don't realize when you sign up to play, only after a few weeks in the middle of a campaign do you realize what happens. I immediately unsubscribed after I found this out.

do you expect us to have like eight different divisions for each side? We only have two divisions for each side. obviously it's not going to be completly realistic. So what? We had japanese tags? we still had german outfits, weapons, and planes. what's the big deal?
If you don't like the questionable realism in BFE WAW I can heartily recommend Forgotten Honor www.forgottenhonor.com - currently fighting a campaign in the Ardennes, American 82nd Airborne vs German 7th Fallschirmjager Division. We're only a few weeks in, buts it's been a blast so far :) Edit: Spelling
I dislike BFE, simply because I get a bad experience almost everytime I play on the public server. Sketchy admins and rules, the players are sometimes good but they are aloud to slide way too often. BFE in my humble opinion is a farm of children.
Sorry, I had to back up my reason. Now to be productive, I love this idea of production and sorts. But it still seems rather infantile in theory. Maybe if you could elaborate more on the subject with possibly some more ideas, this could be the start of something new. :)
BFE sounds like fun, I would do it except that I am already in the 11PzG...
Barget, I don't know what you are talking about... The admins seem fine to me. Especially Irishman, he is Irish. Or so he says...
Irishman is a big liar... take it from me. :D BFE is a great community and the pubbie is for people to have fun... not try an reinact the battle the map currently playing is based on. Thats what the campaigns are for. Trust me, BFE is one of the best experiences I've had while playing any game online. The people, organization, and awesome battles are enough to keep you playing FH long after BF2 comes out. Now the battles aren't all historically accurate timeframe wise but thats so no one side is unbalanced. If Germany has PIVs in say Prok the allies will get T-34-85s to counter. Also, BFE has made its own vehicles like ISUs and such to allow for more variation between battles. People who want teamwork should definitley try it out. And more then just one battle since sometime the first impression is the wrong one. Also, USMA, Matyast was in BFE for a while and the battles are on Thursdays and Saturdays with practices sometime during the week (depending on which company your in, I'm in a tanking comany so mines on Sundays) so if 11PzG doesnt run anything important on those days youll be fine. And no one will really care if you skip a practice or a battle to be with the clan, just tell your CO about the absence so he knows.
Irishman... exactly. He was my worst experience once on Sector 318. Saying that spawn camping wasn't aloud (understandable) but then when some BFE player comes along, even Irishman, they steal vehicles from the Axis main base. Their reason was "But stealing vehicles is aloud as long as you leave the base." I was a little miffed about that but alright. I argued that a bit, because it's rather borderline contradicting, but I was told pretty much to shut up from Irishman. After this, I continued to play, I was waiting for my Panther to spawn back up and low and behold came a BFE player to save the day. First, he stole some tank and repeatedly nailed me, then the Königstiger spawned and he stole that. He continued to rape everyone else for a short period, I brought this to Irishmans attention again and no... nothing was done, the little twerp was clean to do as he pleased. I was so furious I just left the game... ever since then I still find it hard to go back to that server.
Edit: Sorry if I :bawl:'d too much.
