I don't fly much.. But when I fly I fly with mouse and keyboard. I can also make acrobatics with the mouse like flying upsidedown. And I loose manytimes in dogfights...

Bought a stick, throttle and pedal combo a while ago,but use the old Cyborg for BF.

Movements in BF are simply too fast for me to coordinate hands and feet correctly, plus it`s awkward to use a tacticalboard and mouse while having the new stick rigged and the keyboard within reaching distance. Too bad.

as sideslip does not increase drag in BF there's no reason to fly coordinated. just bank as much as possible, and use rudder to keep the plane at the same altitude. i use joystick with throttle, but i don't really ever use it. it's usually only full ahead, idle, or full brake. :D

however i do have more precise control with a mouse than the joystick (manual centering only, springs are broken after a couple of "bad trips"). it's a cheap USB-stick. but i just can't stand moving my hand back and forth all the time.

Reminds me of another problem with it:Centering the throttle, since it has no scale. Was VERY embarassing once.:)

MG42ManiacAll the top pilots (inc me , I use a Saitek Cyborg Evo and its the best stick I have ever had ) use Sticks as you get much better control over a keyboard and or mouse.

I have the same one and I'm loving it. Really great for flight sims like IL-2 as well.
