In 0.5 there were more cannons which had an additional sound of a fired shell dropping out of the chamber with a loud "PLONK" while reloading. (I think the "Brummbär" had this sound as well as some howitzers.)

I think this should be added to all large cannons on tanks, howitzers, 88, PAKs, Defguns, since it is quite good for atmosphere.

Anyone else notice that the Brumbar and a bunch of other tanks/cannons spout so much smoke that you can barely see your target?

I noticed that the Brumbarr dosen't kill a MatildaII in 2 direct hits, which seems innacurate. The Brumbarr cannon was huge.

As for the reload sound, it's still on the Wespe.

It used HE, not AP shells

The Brummbär is an infantry killer, not suitable for tankhunt.

Yes it is still on the Wespe, but the reload sound should be on all big cannons.

The 15cm (150mm) shell from a Brumbarr has an explosion that will penetrate 160mm of armor at any range, because the damage is being dealt by the warhead it's self, not the velocity. It may be HE, but it's a HUGE freaking shell. The MatildaII has, at it's best angle (top/front), 78mm of armor. One Brumbarr shell should destroy the MatildaII utterly.

I wasn't using it as a tank hunter, but the tank was hunting me and I had to shoot back. I hit it dead on TWICE, and it rolled away after killing me. I know for a fact that a Brumbarr shell will destroy that tank.

It is true that it can vaporize other tanks, but still it is meant for different purpose and further it would normally lose a fight against another tank except on close range. I am not sure maybe they thought of a balance reason. The Brummbär´s gun is almost like a howitzer. The smaller Version of the Sturmtiger maybe.

If this thing takes out tanks with one shot, damn.

The move, I think you have to check your sound settings.......

I checked Brummbar and i still hear loud reloading sounds. It sounds like a heavy spend shell casing being ejected on the fighting compartment floor. It is much louder then in tanks. It's firing sound is also a very heavy blast with me, very impressive.

All tanks have that too, but it isn't as loud ( obviously their spend shells are lighter ) Still in a tiger it can be heard well.

I hear also spend cartridges of fixed mg falling on the ground if it is in a certain position.

Maybe ( i do not have any knowledge of this ) the amount of channels or soundquality has do do with that.

If you have not set it on sound hardware, ( sound card handles it, if it has a processor ) your CPU has to handle it. Maybe it doesn't have time enough to do so properly, because it is already heavily loaded ?

Set sound detail to High in settings. Medium will disable a lot of the ambient stuff.

If a 150mm shell would vaporize a tank in real life, I'm sure it should in FH as well. That only makes sense.
