Devs,

As you know BF2C plans on starting an FH2 tournament in the coming days, but we have some people in the tournament who are trying to convince everyone else that the mod screws up their bf2. I've done my best to explain that their problems have nothing to do with FH2, but they persist and I think they are convincing people that the game should be avoided.

Is there any information you can give me to help with this situation? I'm sure FH2 isn't the causes of all the vanilla BF2 problems, because I've had them before installing FH2.

Here is one of the post I'm talking about:

'[NATOBGen.hardCor15t;468536']For those that have recently installed Forgotten Hope 2: After installing this mod when I play vanilla or BF2C DPV's/FAV's and jeeps shake back and forth. As well hit registrastion is severally messed up. SRAWs going through people and vehicles etc. This is due to FH2, I experienced this on 2 sepereate computers. One that has the mod and one that doesnt. I tryed unistalling the mod with their installer, didnt work. Did a manual remove, still had the problem. Somehow this mod modifies the original game, the only solution I found is to reinstall the game. I even reinstalled the game, then reinstalled FH2 to see if it did it again and it did. So now after reinstalling, no more shaky jeeps.

Just thought Id give a heads up for those that didnt know this already.

So if u really wanna play FH2 just be aware that it will fuk up your Vanilla/BF2C gaming.

Hit detection and stuff will not be affected but when FH2 is not closed properly it's possible you get modified content errors on vanilla servers (you won't be able to join) and effects from FH2 in other mods. Just run the FH2.exe and close the game properly and the problems should be gone. I have had this problem once in more than a year of testing/playing FH2 so it does not happen alot in my case I deleted the shaders cache which I usually do when BF2 gives me a headache and it works but is not really necessary in this case.

The shaking camera bug is because of FH2 unfortunately.

We'll fix this in the next patch, but you should also have no problems if you use a seperate profile for FH2.

Jesus Christ.

I always find it funny that whenever something goes wrong it's always 'the mods' fault and not theirs, their hardware, or a combination of both. People are genuinely bloody stupid. Not to mention vBF2 is balls in the first place.

As long as you close it properly, nothing bad should happen. So far it hasn't for me, and I've been running the two to make that in-game text comparison.

Make two diferent profiles, one to play FH and other for vanilla or any other mod: no shaking camera

The other problem is because your computer rebooted or lost power when playing FH, so easy to solve like to run and exit FH one time, fixed
