All I want to know is, will it be possible? It would be a damn shame if people like Mr_Cheese and Bratwurst wouldn't be able to make any clientside mods for us to use and enjoy. :(
Actually, i´d prefer to see Mr.Cheese and Bratwurst in the FH Dev team and FH² not being able to be modded clientside.
We all know that it this is also being abused a lot, i.e. with neon skins and stuff.

You know what a client and what a server is ?
Isn't this where they make their own server and they can change whatever they like?
Basically, yeah. You've got the idea.

Its changing textures and sounds on YOUR computer but still being able to connect to any FH Server.

Thats server side modding. One example would be TDP putting pumas and Tigers on El Alamein for Balance, everyone on the server has to put up with this.
Client side modding is stuff like Cheeses' Soundpack, only you hear the new sounds no one else.
Please don't get confused between Clientside modding and Serverside modding. As other people have already pointed out, Clientside modding only affects your PC. I'm just wondering if it will be possible with the Battlefield 2 engine and FH2, because I have really been enjoying the Historical texture and Sound pack lately, and it would be a shame if mods like that would be unable to be used with FH2.

Ahh I get it, so clientside modding could, theoretically, let you put glowing orange halos around all enemy players which only you could see. I can see how that might be abused...
