oh yes, BF2 bots are nice, have already seen them driving russian vehicles and throwing grenades at and from vehicles - it seems it will be a lot of fun:)

i just want to set up a server, fill it with 64 bots, and see how many i can kill by flying low and smashing with my wings. or me and 3 people on a hill with 60 bots armed with knives rushing at us. i say fun!

I can't stand people so this is good news. The bots are better at teamwork then people usually are. Atleast when I act as sqaud leader in BF2 sp the bots will acually go where I tell them to.

I have a question though. Will SP be only small maps like BF2- Vanilla or will it be possible to play with 32 and 64 bots on the larger maps.

Single-player is a good place to learn the game. I remember when I first downloaded Forgotten Hope (I think it was 0.65 or something), I spent a bit in single-player to learn the capabilities of all the vehicles and weapons. :)

It is not a problem. It's just the nave-mesh generation process for Sp that is taking so long. Long enough for DICE to admit it and not include larger numbers of bots.

cool co-ops fun as hell when your a tail gunner, or stuff you dont get to do much in servers.

I guess that it depends on how much time devs can give to this. As I've mentioned abouve, its' not a problem, it just requires quite much time.

Even if its a version you guys dont want, it will be about a week before somone releases an AI mini-mod. You know what these AI modders are like, theres no stopping them!

All our statics will have the needed collision meshes for NavMeshing, so it wont be a problem for 'aftermarket' modders to customise the AI to their tastes.
