Would be interesting to see how that map plays with the heavier tanks.

A German class on the allied side would be interesting as well. Any confilct between the Western allies and Soviet Union would probably include the German army.

I have read about how in some cases a German unit would be surrendering to the American army and be fighting the Soviets at the same time. German soldiers would hopelessly wish the Americans would join them in fighting them against the Soviets, and the Soviets would be pissed because the American were accepting the surrender while the Germans kept fighting the Soviets.

Yes, I've heard that many Germans in Berlin would have surrendered if not for the hope that the US would capture them instead of the Soviets (who might torture them to death). This looks like a great map, and it has that castle on it that I love so much. I will DL it immediately.

If it was a Jumbo 75mm, then no. A Cromwell had a 57mm gun BUT it was a higher velocity, this could HURT the IS2 frontally.

Ehhh, wtf, why does the IS2 have FHSW weapon icons.

BTW, <3 these maps. <3

because i test it in FHSW too seeing if it is better...

lol

when i was sitting in an IS2 seeking that who is damaging me i never think that it would be that stupid cromwell i was finding for fireflies or M10 or M36s...i knock out a couple of tanks but i was still being damaged regularly...at least after being hit badly i was killed by a cromwell :( (i scream :wtf?)

i also found that the all shermans would be killed in front easily by the T34/85 although not for the jumbo which can only be harm in the side by 2 shots would knock it out. So far the IS2 is the beast of the map there is a mustang it's job is clear...

i really appreciate the original mapper since he put at least 14k static objects in the map :o

Awesome, man! I always asked myself if it was possible to make an allied army X another allied,or axis X axis. Very cool Cold War simulation! I hope soon I can dll your great maps!

Awesome map and I enjoyed playing it, though I'll keep my ''Red Alert'' campaigns purely to HIO2 ;)

Some communist Poles for the Soviet side would be nice, and flavor up the map as well.

Ehhh, wtf, why does the IS2 have FHSW weapon icons.[/quote] At that point in the war the JS2 could take a direct hit from an 88mm at point blank range which is no doubt more powerful than the cromwell's gun. The Russian Battlefield I don't really like the site but a lot is true... You mean many kept fighting with the hope of making it to the Western allied lines as they deserted their units. I mean, no kidding they would want to get captured by the western allies rather than the Russians. The smarter ones took a more "active" role in bring captured by the westerners...
