now you play nice, we can say what we WANT in .66 abd what could make it better...
Gobo12ok for all the folks that first came in here and crapped all over me, tyvm hope you feel better, I guess my intentions in the thread got lost, maybe I should have worded it, "with .66 would it kind of bring all the glory out that .65 should have been, hypewise that is", or "do you think .66 will be your favorite release"? For anyone that totally shit on the thread, get a life, it's a discussion board if the thread bugs you don't reply please and if you're gonna be such an ass at times and so fussy about the threads on this board, once again, get a life maybe go do something else instead of lingering on the boards hitting F5 and dumping on threads.
i dont really understand what you are talking about .. pleas explain why you got so pissed of ...
Sense no sarcasm?
OhioanEvery release is the best one yet. Why don't we make threads on things that are worthy of discussion from now on, ok?
Anyways it's forgotten about. Seems just misunderstanding.

Yeah, 0.5 was definitely the best release ever. I loved how well balanced it was. I miss the Panzerfausts that were 100% accurate while running, that destroyed every allied tank with one shot, and that every German soldier was carrying. I miss the indestructible Tigers. It was so much fun playing Valirisk as Russian, after the Germans had taken all the flags in the first few minutes of the round, the Russians spent the rest of the round trying to get out of their base, and on the hill next to the base there were two 100% indestructible Tiges taking out every T-34 with one shot. That was the greatest fun I've ever had in any game. That's what I would call balance! And finally, I miss the wonderful maps of the fan mappack, Giza, Caucasus, Bagration, Chariot and Wernheim were the greatest maps I've ever played. Everyone liked 0.5 so much that there were some 50 players online at the best time of the day, those were the days.
Major HartmannI think I can say technically 0.66 is superior to all other earlier versions. In terms of new techniques that is, although 0.6 wasn't much behind.
That's good to hear.
My only wish for .66 (aside from the obvious bug fixes) is that they remodel the weapon crosshair behaviour for a more realistic combat as suggested in more detail here.
