hi folks, well i think every FH Fan is really excited about the upcoming release of FH and after the developers have finally finished adding new content I just have a few questions about the upcomin' release (of course it would be cool if the devs could aswer them,but im thankful for any answer:) ): -Will the new version be a patch or a full installer? -Will there be a new M1 Garand in it? -How about some new skins for US-Soldiers? McGibs said once that he's workin' on some.... -What are the new infantry-weapons? -Will the general lag be decreased a bit (i know stupid question,but anyway...)? well thats about all,but i still have a final question/suggestion to the devs: I know ur all working hard on FH and we all appreciate it but wouldn't it be better, instead of always adding new maps/weapons/vehicles/sounds etc. to the new patch,to add the new armies like the French or the Italian for a future patch? I mean why not adding all the armies first (with a couple of maps for them)? And after you've added them making the improvements? just a suggestion...so don't get upset. Cheers

-Full installer. We are optimizing, and deleting unused files for better preformance. -No, but the dice one has a new skin, so it doesnt look as pink. -I did some, but I'm not sure if they'l get in or not. (the mappers have to go back and change them). -FG42, Greasegun, K98, No4, Satchel Charges, .30 cal, RGD33 grenade, Mills Grenade, Katana, Panzerfausts, Thompsons, and probly some othes I forgot. -After optimizing, it should. Load times will be less at the very least.

No need to make a new thread, hope it's okay i use your A$$A$$IN :) - There was a discussion regarding whether it should be "disabled" for people to enter the other teams vehicles / planes / ships. Is that a feature that is included in this release ? Or is it something that you, the devs. , are working on ? Thanks :)

the team isnt working on it because maps like alpen use the flag system in a way that the german king tiger would only be enterable by americans if they had restricted access to the other team. just search for threads about this topic and youll see why its a bad idea to have it restricted access

judge reinholdthe team isnt working on it because maps like alpen use the flag system in a way that the german king tiger would only be enterable by americans if they had restricted access to the other team. just search for threads about this topic and youll see why its a bad idea to have it restricted access

I like this idea, because in rl it wouldnt be very easy to work a german tank if you were american. Also americans parachuting into the kt on alpenfesting ruines the map.

Yeah I totaly second that. I know there's a thread in the suggestion-section, I've read it myself. But I can't seem to find it, and can't remember who started it, or what the topic was called, so don't think It'll do much to do a search. I will be happy if someone would please find it for me ? =) But is it only alpenfestung that will be affected if you guys made it impossible for a yank to jump into a Tiger fx ?

no, several maps use this idea. the team seriously considered this idea around .5, but rejected it. this is a great decision for multiple reasons... like say what would happen to the vehicles at the spawn when you capture a flag? if it bothers you that much, just pretend you are part of an elite tanker crew especially trained in driving both your and enemy tanks to SAVE AMERICA!
