All tankers unite and rejoice in the death of the expack. Let the infantry now become sludge to grease our tracks.

I play as an Engineer more than any other class and expacks were a valuable tool in my arsenal in taking out tanks and vehicles. I think diminishing the Engineer will result in a lot less people wanting to play as an Engineer. I understand that the expack will be replaced with the satchel explosives. I am not sure how effective they will be so I will reserve judgement. But to increase the power of tanks and lessen the effect of an Engineer might result in amor being just too dominating. I hope the panzerfaust will actually be a worthwhile anti-tank weapon like it was in the 0.5 version. I will wait and see. I can't wait for the patch release. It will be Christmas in September for me...:D Salute to the FH modders!

I never used exp packs, except for a few artillery pieces that I needed to blow up but I am not proud of those kills, I always use the zooka, PIAT, faust or Panzershreck...

Its all wrong! Satchels will be a tankers worst nightmare and whatever-class-that gets-these's best freind!

You see before they had to (1) Throw 1-2 charges (2) Right click to bring up detonator (3) Left click to detonate * all while usually trying to runaway!

NOW all they have to do is step ONE Before U could often kill them as they tried to set the dyn off or run-away- but this will be no more!.

As long as they can sneak and toss the charges will be going off!

As for driving over infantry, we can only HOPE tankers get that most precious ability of being able to drive over and crush ppl, rather then push them along on there merry satchel tossing way...

Exactly. This was the problem with expacks in the first place. Expacks should not be some anti-tank variant, instead, people should use the (currently terribly underpowered) projectile AT weapons.

The satchel carges will be superior to expacks for taking out tanks in many situations. You can no longer plant and hide, but close in attacks will be much easier was you wont have to drop, switch, detonate- just throw and run

Yes because we all know the engineers of WW2 were the primary antitankers, or a tankers nightmare roll%20eyes%20%28sarcastic%29.gif.
