I've offered before, but not to much avail. I wanted to offer again before the new release. If you are dissatisfied with the current soundscripting in FH, I am willing to help out.

Specifically, I am very bothered with the stereo sound issue in the current release, where you can't tell where many sounds are coming from. There is also a serious sound priority issue where the overlapping sounds cause many sounds to be blanketed out.

You will notice that Desert COmbat rarely suffers from the above problems. There's a reason for that. ;)

So let me know if you desire my help before the final release.

first, for next version, this is a "little" bit too late ;)

second, if u mean final release, 1.0 or something like that, that will take a long time u know. and many many sound problems have already been fixed and new kickass sound was added.

but if ur code is really that good or special, a dev can have a look at it and judge for themselves.

otherwise just wait for the next release and consider again, if ur help is needed.

Nice offer for fh man! I think that you will have to wait till the version after .65 to do anything as 65 is done, and just going through testing right now. I think sounds will be improved for 65 but who knows if they will fix the issues you talk about. I hope they let you solve those issues if they haven't. Nice job with your sound pack btw.

The issue he is talking about is not just the sounds which will probaly be greatly improved for 65 anyway, but the actualy sound scripting- which you cant change with a sound replacement pack

Your obvieously not aware of Tanelorns brilliant tallent at making realistic sounds, he can only improve the mod. And anyone who knows of Tanelorns work (the entire DC community) would be more than happy to include his work in the FH mod. kthnxbye! :cya:
