We all know how you can't really hide in grass in BF2. Due to the way things get rendered at distance, you see the guy but not the grass around him. Wondering if this is somehow going to be improved upon in FH2, if that's even a possibility?
The undergrowth grass problem is still present but luckily enough theres a bunch of vegetation that you can hide into without fearing you will be spotted from far away. :) For example, see screenshots of the maps and you see these bushes what I am talking about.
Yeah, and the uniforms color, blends into the terrain much better than in BF2, you dont stick out like a sore thumb. Even if you dont have a bush to hide in, you are still much harder to see at long range.
That's good news to hear. I hated it how I was sniping from tall grass and thought I was concealed, while I was actually a big black dot in the light green bushes.
Not to mention that the maps (even tho they are desert) has loads of detail-wise implaced statics, all sorts of junk all over the place so you have tons and tons of cover if you do not happen to have a shrubbery near you. :)
Indeed, if you are farther away from the grass it's a lot of cover. Like I couldn't see this bren gunner and he was hiding in the grass from far away. I died : (.
Will terrain do this? I know in BF42 sometimes ground would disappear at a great distance and you could see someone hiding behind?
yea , that happend in bf2 too, i think is even more noticeable in PR , since the view distance are higher .
I personally havent seen this happen in FH2 so far.
But the tall grass conceals on Lilliput, doesn't it?
