While playing online i've noticed that even though FH2 is around for a while now, there seems to be little teamplay online. so hence my question, do you guys really like playing in teams online? Do you apply wwii style suppression tactics (the typical 3 F's of infantry combat; fix, flank, finish) while you play? or do the levels not really attract this type of gameplay?

I'm just wondering.. i've had the impression that alot of "lone wolf" ing is going on lately on the servers..

just looking for a sign, that there's an actual teamplay spirit left online :lookaround:

Well i have the same problem mate... :( I am always searching for squads with VOIP and teamwork, I succeeded once since the releasedate to find one! When i make my own squad with TW VOIP, no1 joins... Really frustrating after playing project reality for a while :bawl: Grtz What server are you playing on? "Op welke server speel jij veel?" :smokin:

Funny, I hardly see any lone wolfing. Its just not fun because you'll die a lot.

I love to do teamwork and I usually try to drive those in my team into working as a team aswell, most of the times by starting a fireteam and commanding it closely to the battle and keeping eye on how the lads in the squad are doing.

I'm just referring to the type of play you see in games like brothers in arms. Where a team is actually supporting eachother with covering/suppressing fire while the other team flanks and destroys the enemy. It's a very effective way of combat, even in FH2. i was wondering if people other than myself were thinking/doing the same thing?

I love to and I tried it online yesterday.

I made a TMWRK VOIP squad. It filled up pretty quick and I said hello to them all and told them the plan - No response and they all went off doing their own thing pretty much.

Depends on what you call tactics, I don't have a headset around (broke a couple, forgot whcih one works and can't be bothered to find and test them) so I don't to VOIP taxtics. I do join squads though and use squad and team text to talk, trying to form an effective squad assaulting a point somewhere. The results may varry: Sometimes nobody gives a rats ass and other times people stick together.

So yeah I attempt tactics but if those can't be pulled of I just try to help the team "alone" , playing in a way that will be most favourable for the team as a whole.

I won't go lone wolf (personal score whoring). Though getting a high score when you fight for the greater good (team) may be a side effect...

The two last rounds I have played in Tobruk ended with less than 10 tickets diference...that means teamplay, because that map needs it. The players are starting to understand the maps, the features and the inner tricks, the teamplay is slowly prevailing.

I use tactics everytime I play. 130th Pz prides on use of german tactics, and we also train in them. So yes, when you see a 130th squad, expect efficient, team oriented gameplay:P

yes, its satisfying to see that more and more games are decided with only a few points difference, with both sides gaining the upper hand at various stages of one map.
