making this mod what it is, amazing.... today for example i played this map but i forgot what it's called since there are so many but it was the one where the germans gotta cross the river and the russian have 3 control points and the map is very narrow ect.... well, on that map the game really shined you have the german artillery on one side and the germans crossing the river with bullets litterally ripping the boats apart with water being shot up everywhere.... (i was on a 64 player server) the russians have like 40 machine guns zeroed in on these boats and bullets are flying everywhere, it felt like a movie.... i've played this mod for some time but i never actually took the time to realize how much work goes into and and how people out there actually do this to make us gamers happy not like to big corrporations that do it for the money.... thanks, really for a great mod that feels like a game bigger than anything else (even though some quirks still gotta be worked out:D) plus, i never pawned with the kar98 ever like i do now....:D

I suspect you're talking about Stalingrad... And completely reversing the teams in the process. Stalingrad has the Russians crossing the river in dinky little boats, supported by two big-momma 105mm howitzers. Having made it across, eventually, the Russians need to fight their way up the river bank. Yes, it is a pretty narrow map, so yeah, I think that's the one. Now if only the artillerymen could get some feedback from their comrades re. their aim, the Russians would have a much easier time winning that map. But nobody co-operates, everyone's a hero... A. EDIT: Strictly speaking, the map is the Battle of Stalingrad. Just to avoid confusion...

I think he was playing Karelia !

Anyway, nice of you to be enjoying the game and I think most people here agree with you that FH has an unmached atmosphere on some maps...

Well...its kinda germans. Its Finnish guys with german weapons. Also, there is a big river between the german mainbase, and the 3 flags. 2 of the flags are russian at the beginning, but they use too take the little axis flag, and then they have 3 flags.

It could have been karelia u where playing, m8!

But I agree....this mod is amazing! :)

What comes to Finns, they only have minority of German weapons anymore. Most of their armament is Russian.
