I've decided to call it quits with FH a bit earlier than expected. My health most likely would have prevented me from modding past the new year anyway.

I found out today for certain I will not be around for Fh2's first release. I knew this already tho, but just the confirmation of this angered me. I could only think of during .7 of FH1, I exported and coded over a dozen vehicles becasue Major Hartmann just disappeared. I never recieved any recognition for this since it was the general feeling of the minisitry of misinformation that if anyone knew Major Hartmann was MIA, they would panic. Anyway, this has been sitting on me like soured milk since we started FH2. Specially since in the coding section of our roster, I still have not been added even though Primo Itch has been listed as a coder since he joined. Please enlighten me on anything he has coded.

To get off my rant and back on subject, the reason I'm posting this publically is I fear my leaving "when I have to" will become a big secret like when other key devs leave the mod. I've left enough goodies behind that my name may appear on news screens for some time to come. This has happend in the past when I've had to step back from modding becasue of personal reasons.

I put together a page tonight that shows what I have left on the ftp. I noted what has to be done with each model or project. So later when you see a news update on these items.. if at all, please give big kudos to anyone listed that finished up my work. Believe me, the modeling is the easy part.

My leaving isn't going to impact FH's release date at all. The stuff I've been doing even tho somewhat misguided is icing on the cake. The tommy is completely usable even tho it's missing some decoration. Jodo is more than qualified to finish that up.

here is the page that will probably get this thread deleted: http://www.autoadart.com/fh2/radwips.htm

I'm hoping Lightning will not delete this... I'd rather have this posted here than elsewhere.

Thanks to all that have given me kudos on my work in the past. That was worth more than any paycheck.

Have fun with FH2!!!!

My thoughts are already written here. You have obviously put much heart into this development and as a positive, hopefully your name will reappear as time goes by. I'm sure I speak for many others by saying thank you, and good luck

I'm really surprised to see this, Rad. Although I'm a very common guy in FH community, you Rad maybe have not ever even noticed me, a friend from China, but I like your models most. Your models are the most beautiful and delicate which all look like perfect artworks. I can not imagine, without you, what FH2 models will be like. Well, you have decided to leave, I have to say I'm really sorry to see this.

Wish you all the good luck, Rad! And I hope you will have time to come to see us, these old friends who love you forever! :cya:
