This a poll for what your favorite all-new map in . 65 is (hard as it may be). It is a redone version of this poll: http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=151232 It left out rhesinburg and falaise pocket which are now included, and allowed multiple voting. This poll only allows a single vote and has all, the all-new the maps. I debated whether to re-do it but I though it was better to, since people might really want a missing map. I made it single choice as well, to make the choosing harder between the ones you like more.

Ok well my other poll was closed so there is just this one now. Sorry for not waiting donitz, yea one that last one I dunno how I forgot falise pocket ( I did do quick check)), and of course for the empty one with not selecting poll option. Oh well hazards of starting new threads late at nigh... heh. I voted for 318 here, and my runners up were rheisinburg and tarawa and Bor. I guess I should have just done multiple choice again but oh well, this kinda interesting too.

It was hard to decide between Nordwind and Sector 318 but after thinking for a while I decided that Nordwind is better :).

Nordwind is the best new map in 0.65.

Goodwood is a close 2nd, but I´ve had rather enough of Normandie tank battles.

The other new playable maps are rather unoriginal or remakes of older Maps. Blacknight is like Alpenfestung and Sector 318 is like Battleaxe in Normandie. Desert Rose seems rather unispired and has a static layout and Supercahrge is ok I guess. The other Maps have serious issues that dont allow you to play them properly...

Maybe someone should combine all these poles, and get a more accurate number?:deal: I wonder if the public servers look at these numbers, to influence the maps they host?

Goodwood. Lots of bushes, cities, good weapons on both sides, even tank matching. Only issue is that there's too much AT infantry.

Nordwind is good, but the Axis have a major disadvantage in terms of terrain. if they get locked into their main and the eastern spawn, that's a LOT of open ground to cover. Personally, I don't think maps should get to a point where "Well, if you're at that point, you DESERVE to lose" should come into play.

I think adding a bit more cover there would help.

Supercharge, rarely have i seen so much teamwork, the way the flags are laid out is just genious. And who here has ever lead a group of 6-7 infantry along the railway track to attack the crossing (with matilda 2s at your side). Some of the best fights i've ever had in FH were attacking or defending that hill/mountain, incredibly fun. The minefields are also excellent and add alot of tactical diversity into the game.
