yea just give me a link to the files
I didn't make it!
Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon - Official There is the site, and in the download section is the files.
Oh and once I've finished the covers and the other bit of work I'm doing that will earn me money, I'm going back to 3d Moddeling, which I haven't done since the Ghost Recon days (check csk-uk to see my old old old work).
It's a shame DICE don't use the BF2 engine more, I played 2142 for a bit but it's just too arcadey after the BHD feel to BF2.
Oh and if you spot any spelling erroors please tell me (like HF2) as I'm a tad dislexic (us geniuses always are LOL)
you shud poste your new bf2 cover on the fh² cover contest topic http://forums.filefront.com/forgotten-hope-general-discussion/269592-fh2-dvd-cover-competition.html
I think any cover for FH1 should have certain things to match the BF trend. Yes, defintely the soldier model...Although according to the BF games, a WW2 American soldier with something subtle that reflects the particular strain of game would be more in order. With FH, perhaps either a paratrooper, or with netting or whatever on the helmet and perhaps holding an M1 garand or Grease gun (One that is unique to, or more unique to FH)... Oh and you must have that gritting of teeth look - just gotta but honestly, the German face is fine also... just a bit assymetrical is all. Also, I note that there is some order in the the mish-mash below that image. An aircraft unique to the game top right, using the trend b/n BF42 and BF-V, a ship unique to the game bottom right, infantry and armor bottom left to mid-bottom. and a bit ab out the frame. All the BFs have this curve @ thew bottom of the front end displaying the EA sign. I recall...I dunno, was it Russian comerade, adding this and putting a 0.7 in the place of the EA which was cool and then the back, great work with that. I think the color, background and pix are spot on... But you could use the writting font and words that Russian comerade used...The one that begun with 'This isn't the end, this isn't even the begining of the end' etc etc. I thought that blended with the BF theme more... And finally, like Road to Rome or SWWW2, a red bar with the 'You must own a copy of BF42 with updated requirements etc etc'. just to give it a professional touch
spideripc;3845237I have now updated the cover so it isn't GERMAN mad - I've also updated the pics on the back.
To be honest this is done, finito, finished, there will be no more etc.
I like the critiscism, very handy, but I have other, more pressing work to do now (FH 2). This was done for me, so I could put a case up on my shelf with all the BF1942 updates and FH2 0.7 burnt on a DVD.
Thanks for the help/opinion, but I like to get things done quick and look good (especialy as I also have some 3D modelling and a contract to design the logo of a magazine to do), if anyone wants alterations just download it (from csk-uk.co.uk) and fiddle with it, its out there for the FH gang to do with as they wish.
hey, thanks for the cover man and sorry if i sounded annoying. Was really just plying with ideas there.
