Ok I have a few questions about Forgotten Hopes future, Are you joining going to focus on the late war stuff from now on. As you know many people what the Pz III & the many versions which people think will balance maps, However what can be expect for FH in the future.

I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with Battlefield 2?

Oh, and look at all the French and Polish stuff coming out. Hardly late war pal.

Well was the ACES & Panzer III post a joke, I read that & it seems Fh likes Late war better.

It was just that, a joke. FH was founded, AFAIK, for early war stuff. They should see that mission through!

Yeah wasn't the Mod's description a while back "mod for 1939-1943" or something similar?...

Even the name "Forgotten Hope" implies 1939-43, when Europe began to lose hope under her oppressors.........

Of course, late war is much cooler, with much better battles, weapons, vehicles, etc.

No you have it completely reversed. It intially it said it was only going to be for 41-45, but this later expanded to included early war maps which seem to be in focus now (counter attack, polish etc.). Im not sure how commited they ever were to just 41-45, but thats what it said on the site for a long time. As for fh and bf2, I hope the original FH still gets some updates to aciod a paingull EOD style death where they stopped updateding it so it slowyly withered away, and the new release failed to recruite the same numbers. Until the popularity of BF2 is equal or greater to the orginal its hard to justify a total shift I would think. Maybe a couople of devs with older comps will still do some work on it, maybe back converting stuff so the original FH can peter out more gracefully.

No boys, the initial focus of FH was just 1939-1941 and no americans but when I joined I started an anoying campaign in the team to add americans and feature all the war (I had modeled some beautiful american planes, they needed to find their way home) :D It was easy to convince them though, Mange helped a lot, he was also modeling a bunch of yankee planes
