MrFancypantsThe hull mg is almost useless, you have such a little fire arc that your enemy has to be an extreme idiot to get into it :) What is more it never happens to me (playing on public servers that is) that someone gets into my tank just to arm that not very effective mg. If you sit in a tank your turrent faces towards the direction you drive to most of the time. The main gun and the coaxial mg are more effective at taking out infantry in fron of the tank, the only use I would see for hull mgs is when the turret faces backwards, which is not a good idea if you want to fight against other tanks :)

That is because maps in FH are littered with houses and buildings in wich terrain tanks cannot be effective.....( other thread ) Tanks need distance and room to fight.

But in more open terrain maps you will find hull mg as effective as the coax mg because you are attacking in the direction the tank is going and the mg has quitte a range ( 1 km in real life ) .....you don't need a wide angle for that.

If the tank driver is any good, he will not wave around his turret much, but trackturn the frontal armour toward enemies......all enemies, as frontal armour will also increase your chance against infantry AT weapons. This is primarely for surviving damage better with the thick frontal armour, but it also directs the hull mg in the direction of infantry targets that can be cut down twice as effective.

If you have a hull gunner, do not forget him and turn your tank toward threats ( you should do that anyways as explained )and not your turret. I turn the turret only to fine-aim shots or for emergency shots if there is no other option.

In many cases track turning is faster then turret turning anyways, and the turret turner is facing enemies with weak side armour and no hull mg gunner.....such a player is not very skilled.

Well, if you are fighting over such long distances infantry isn't a real danger anyway :) As it is now I don't like it very much to have a hullgunner, if my tank is destroyed my team will lose two tickets instead of one. I like it much more to have able infantry running near my tank. Or another tank covering me :)

They should be safer inside your tank then outside, since a tank is bullet resistant.....infantry is not......

But FH infantry isn't realistic neither since between 60 % and 80 % of all WWII inafntry was armed with common rifles, and not much more.......later in the war smg and assault rifles were used but in FH all infantry seems to carry some sort anti tank weapon, making them rediculous mini rambo's that slay all before them all on their own, including 70 ton tanks.....

How diffrent was that in real life....if infantry like that really existed, ( each infantry man can kill one or more tanks ) there would heve been no point in building expensive tanks.....since there were millions of infantry and only thousands of tanks.....

MazzHell Its not that hard to go 102-1 in a King Tiger. I went 76-14 in a Panzer 2 on Fall Weiss. I post the screen if you want. My friend Scorpion went 62-5 in a King Tiger on Tundra during a BFE match. Thats against FOUR IS-2s.

So lol is-2's are shiot vs he KT

*sigh* :smack: Some correct spelling would not go missed. The IS-2 if used correctly can do alot of damage to a KT. btw, 130th does not own my 'Faggot Ass' I own them:cool: :0wned:

Maybe, but I only seem to recall one single map where the two are directly confronted: Berlin Outskirts.

And that one puts the IS2 at a rather serious disavantage... the IS2 commonly has to face more than the KT at any given time...

The Evils are Teamplayers, yes. They are that good, cause they are using teamspeak. They are skilled also, of course. But they are no saints.:uhm: Whenever they appear, teams become uneven cause people dont wanna loose. At the end the opposite team is full of noobs, dedicated to loose. Good teamplayers should also even TEAMS, a behavior that is missing at most people like "Bong", the "Wolf"-players or others. But since they are admins on Wolf, their reign seems a little bit autocratic. They are treating me ( and others ) overbearing, so i dont like em. :uhoh: And EVIL: I still remember your TKing days in 2003 on "FH0.5x@WOLFgamingnet". So COME down back on the ground. :moon: (sorry for language, but i'm no native speaker) A good teamplayer?: trix of TAW!!!!! :naughty:
