Will the New FH2 introduce a small movie befor it loads like EA/dice put in on their games, i know it is not necessary but maybe it could be a downlaod or something other players will see what Fh is about in action, in my opinion i like have movies befor the game starts.

Only if it's put to music.

I'm thinking something along the lines of the Safety Dance

I dont think people would download +1GB without knowing what FH is about. But the idea to make a trailer is a good idea, it could be filmed of the beta, then released before the game goes public. Having such a movie implimented into the game itself is.. a waste of space. It will get old eventually, so you might as well keep it sepperate.

I say, why not. The first Fh release is probably going to be a gig anyhow thanks to EA's new zip archives (I like rfa's ALOT better.). 300 extra megabytes of intro can't hurt.

You do realise that you can compress files even more with .RAR

I had a folder with .jpeg files and it was about 70mbs. When I .rar it, it went to about 30mbs, thats a pretty big difference!

It can..

Personaly I'd find an intro to be a waste of time, not only for the Devs, but also for loading up the game. I deleted by BF2 intro movies emidiatly aswell and I'd do the same with FH2s after a while.

However, a promo trailer might be a good way to attract a larger audience and a good way to remind people that FH is back. But I'd recommend shooting the movie/trailer after the actual release, so the hot fans can reserve themselves more bandwidth and also no time is wasted for filmind while betatesting.

Yes, but bf2 doesnt read rars. It only reads zips.

Wow - you want to make it a 50 minute movie before playing?
